Samp TV hits 20,000 YouTube subscribers as international strategy drives growth
Samp TV continues to go from strength to strength, with the club YouTube channel hitting 20,000 subscribers in the aftermath of the Blucerchiati’s stunning 3-1 win over Atalanta on Sunday afternoon.
The channel has attracted over 1500 new subscribers since the summer alone. The majority of the content published by Samp TV is translated into English, allowing the club to tap into the huge international market. And the figures are even more impressive when you consider that Samp TV had just 9000 subscribers when it became a web-only service – that’s an increase of 222%.
The challenge now for Samp TV is to sustain this growth, conquering as many smartphones and laptop screens as possible. The variety of videos published on the channel is certainly helping, with content including the news on the Doria academy (such as this update on developments at Casa Samp), interviews with big first-team players (check out our latest special on Dennis Praet), eSports, training videos and mixed-zone interviews.
Becoming part of our online community and getting every Samp TV video straight onto your phone is simple, intuitive and free: simply click on the “subscribe” button and you’re good to go.
So, we look forward to seeing you – at the stadium on weekends and at Samp TV every day in between!
