Next Generation kids to descend on Marassi

It’s the final get-together of the season for the Next Generation teams and it promises to be a big one. On the weekend of Sampdoria v Cagliari, club president Massimo Ferrero has invited all affiliated clubs to the Stadio Ferraris for a special event called Final Whistle.

After a meeting to discuss summer camps and plans for next season, the kids born in 2010 will take part in a series of matches on the very turf Fabio Quagliarella and co. will be stepping out onto soon after. Imagine the excitement for them!

For the Serie A match itself, the Distinti stands will be filled with all the children from Samp-affiliated technical centres and football schools, directors, coaches and officials.

The total figure will reach 1500 with the addition of further guests from the Dalla Scuola allo Stadio (From School to Stadium) project, which aims to teach youngsters the rules and values of sport while strengthening ties with education, and France Sport, a Varese-based football school set up by former Samp player Marco Franceschetti.
