Sampdoria eSports: Samp bids Lisbon farewell after Moche XL

A night unlike any other, in Portugal or indeed anywhere else. The Moche XL comes to a close in front of a bumper crowd at the Altis Arena: over 10,000 fans in attendance, young supporters desperate for a glimpse of their eSports heroes up close.

Among those they came to see was of course Mattia Guarricino, pro gamer for Sampdoria. Samp have made their intentions clear in their push to join side by side with youngsters everywhere in their enthusiasm and support for new forms of entertainment, with competitive gaming at the forefront.

Lonewolf92, as the already famous Samp gamer is known, took on Simon Zimme Nystedt of Roma, Goncalo RastArtur Pinto of Sporting Lisbon, José Runrun Soares and Abdelhamid Mence Fares of the eSports teams For The Win and Epsilon. After two days of great competition, the much yearned for cup was claimed by the Spaniard Jesus Xexuatm Garnacho, star of Asus ROG Army.
