“I want to become the best gamer in the world.”

Leon Blackarrow Aussieker – Sampdoria’s Xbox gamer – is certainly not lacking in ambition.

Speaking to L’Ultimo Uomo while wearing a black Sampdoria shirt, Blackarrow talked up Doria’s prospects in the world of eSports, having joined the club in the winter transfer window. And he’s already shown what he can do, qualifying for two EA Sports FIFA 19 events and setting his sights on the World Cup Playoffs.

“I want to thank Sampdoria for showing faith in me,” he said. “I want to keep improving so that I can compete in the eWorld Cup in August.”
