Our Academy initiative to bring the players closer together

Despite the lack of ball and pitch activity at present, Sampdoria are still in operation. During this period of emergency in which all sporting activity at the Academy has been brought to a halt, and rightly so, the club has decided to ensure its younger members do not feel lonely.

Director Giovanni Invernizzi, along with academy coordinator Francesco Crisanti and the psychology department, has decided to put forward a special initiative for the youngsters every week. Through drawings, videos, photos and questionnaires, the instructors are able to interact with the youngsters remotely and maintain the connection that brings us together and also differentiates between us as individuals representing the club’s unmistakable colours.

During this period in which we are confined to our homes and have to train away from the pitches and without any physical contact, the young Blucerchiati are not on their own because Samp have decided to launch a message that is about much more than football: #iorestoacasa but my club never abandons me.
