Sampdoria eSports: FIFA eClub World Cup groups revealed

This year’s FIFA eClub World Cup is set to be the biggest yet with 190 clubs vying for one of 24 available spots as the best gamers from across the globe face off in a series of qualification matches over the next month until 22 December.

The German youngster will be competing on Xbox in a bid to earn the points needed to reach the finals.

The qualifying groups were revealed this morning, with 140 European clubs in the running. Sampdoria are in Pillar 1 (28 teams in total) and will start in Tier 1 alongside two-time winners Brondby (Denmark), Brescia eSports (Italy), FaZe Clan (UK-USA), Nantes (France), Legia Warsaw (Poland), Movistar Riders (Spain), NoFuchsGiven eSports (UK) and Espanyol (Spain).
