Samuel Eto’o is today celebrating his 37th birthday.

The Cameroon legend joined Sampdoria in January 2015 and stayed with the club for the remainder of the season, entertaining the Doria faithful with glimpses of his prodigious talent.

A Champions League and Club World Cup winner with Barcelona and Inter, Eto’o wore the No.99 jersey at Samp, scoring two splendid goals and helping the side qualify for the following season’s Europa League.
