#StayatHome Tournament: Italian and Spanish eSports clubs get involved online

Io resto a casa. Quedate en casa. Stay at home. The concept is clear in every language: it is not the time to leave the house, as this is the way to take the sting out of the coronavirus by hitting it on the counterattack. The world of eSports is here to help out by offering a brand of entertainment that all fans can enjoy. Sampdoria are going to be active participants in the #StayatHome Tournament which is organised by the eSports Academy in collaboration with Levante UD. The online FIFA 20 competition is set to be contested by four Italian and five Spanish clubs.

Besides the Blucerchiati, who are represented by Mattia Lonewolf 92 Guarracino, ESA Bologna, Parma and Sassuolo make up the Italian contingent, while Huesca, Levante, Zaragoza, Valencia, Villarreal and Hashtag United are the other competitors. The teams will be split into two groups (Group A will be on 17 and 19 March and Group B will be on 18 and 20 March), with the top-ranking sides going through to the knockout stage ahead of the final on 21 March. It’s time to take your seat on the sofa and get behind Samp.

Here are the fixtures for the Blucerchiati:
First leg on 17 March 2020 – Second leg on 19 March 2020
v Sassuolo 20:30
v Zaragoza 21:00
v Valencia 21:45
v Levante 22:15
