Strength and technical drills in Bogliasco ahead of Piacenza friendly

After a day and a half off, the Sampdoria squad were back in Bogliasco to continue preparations ahead of the start of the new campaign. On pitch two at the Mugnaini, Claudio Ranieri and his staff focused on strength work, technical drills under pressure and a small-sided game.

Alex Ferrari, Manolo Gabbiadini and Nicola Murru (calf injury that was treated in Tortona) all took part in individual recovery sessions. A morning session is scheduled in Bogliasco on Wednesday, followed by the third pre-season friendly, against a Piacenza side that will compete in Serie C in 2020/21. Kick-off at the Stadio Garilli is at 20:30 CEST.
