U19s earn draw in Florence
In the end a draw was a fair result as Sampdoria Primavera claimed their first point of the new year to edge upwards in the table and keep the Viola behind them.
It might have been three points after D’Amico’s second-half double turned the tables on the hosts following Montiel’s penalty conversion two minutes after kick-off, but Spalluto’s goal 10 minutes from time ensured the spoils were shared.
The Blucerchiati host 5th-placed Roma next week in the last game of the first half of the season.
