U19s slip to defeat against AC Milan

Sampdoria Primavera were unable to kick off the new year with a win as a resurgent AC Milan side triumphed 2-0 in Bogliasco.

Bottom-of-table Milan, with new coach Federico Giunti at the helm, took the lead on the half-hour mark through Daniel Maldini. The son of the former Rossoneri legend set up Frank Tsadjout for the second before the break and the Blucerchiati were unable to find a way back into the contest.
