Barreto cancels out Caracciolo as Samp draw with Feralpisalo

A heavy-legged Sampdoria were held to a 1-1 draw by FeralpiSalo in their second pre-season friendly in Temu on Saturday.

Former Samp man Andrea Carracciolo – having recently joined Feralpi from Brescia – came back to haunt the Blucerchiati when he opened the scoring from the spot in the 10th minute, before Edgar Barreto equalised 15 minutes from time.

Emil Audero made a first appearance between the sticks for Doria while Gianluca Caprari was forced off early in the second half after picking up a knock to the ankle.
