Bereszynski’s first session with new Samp team-mates
Bartosz Bereszynski joined in with his new team-mates on Wednesday morning as Sampdoria pushed on with preparations for Saturday’s visit to Napoli.
Our new Polish right-back – who arrived at the training ground accompanied by his compatriot Karol Linetty – and the other Blucerchiati were guided through muscle activation exercises, a warm-up with the ball and tactical drills, before finishing with a training game on a short pitch.
Linetty didn’t take part as he has only just recovered from flu; he instead did personalised work in the gym and on the pitch.
Meanwhile Bruno Fernandes, still suffering from flu, sat out the session entirely.
Emiliano Viviano did strength training on the pitch while Carlos Carbonero focused on fitness work and Jacopo Sala had a session in the pool.
The team will meet back in Bogliasco on Thursday morning for their next session.
