Double helping of tactics and technique for Blucerchiati; afternoon workout on Thursday

Sampdoria continued their preparations for the massive fixture this Sunday at home to Juventus.

With Polish duo Bartosz Bereszynski and Karol Linetty back in the fold, Marco Giampaolo split his squad into two groups for tactical drills this morning. The session was bolstered by the presence of academy prospects Simone Giordano, Joao Gomes Ricciulli, Bozo Mikulic, Alex Pastor and Andrea Tessiore.

The Blucerchiati began the afternoon with a warm-up before moving onto training games and then a practice match to finish things off. Dawid Kownacki was feeling under the weather with flu so didn’t train today.

A closed training session is planned for tomorrow afternoon.
