Double session in Bogliasco to kick off Udinese prep. Praet resumes work with the rest of the squad

Two training sessions were held in Bogliasco on Wednesday as Samp began preparations for next Sunday’s home game against Udinese.

In the morning the players were split into two groups for strength work in the gym and tactical drills out on the pitch, while after lunch a single group played a training game focusing on technique and tactics.

Seven academy youngsters were drafted in to make up the numbers: Ibourahima Balde, Emanuel Ercolano, Simone Giordano, Titas Krapikas, Matteo Raspa, Ognjen Stijepovic and Andrea Tessiore.

Dennis Praet, who is continuing his recovery programme, joined in with his team-mates during the morning while Gaston Ramírez, Jacopo Sala and Valerio Verre carried out personalised work in the afternoon.

The next training session is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
