Double session at the Mugnaini, behind closed doors on Thursday afternoon

Sampdoria continued their preparations for the last league fixture of the calendar year against SPAL at Marassi on Saturday afternoon.

At a rain-soaked Bogliasco, Marco Giampaolo began the first of two training sessions in the video-analysis room. The squad then moved outside for a warm-up, specific strength exercises and tactical drills with ten on ten. They continued in the afternoon with some practise matches.

Under-17 goalkeeper Matteo Raspa was called up to train with the first-team squad during the day, while Duvan Zapata worked on his return to fitness in the gym and outside.

The Blucerchiati will be back out for another session behind closed doors tomorrow afternoon.
