Double training session on Friday, in-house friendly on Saturday

It was a busy day in Bogliasco as the Blucerchiati were put through a double session on Friday.

Slovak midfielder David Ivan returned in the fold while Joachim Andersen, Bartosz Bereszynski, Dawid Kownacki, Karol Linetty, Ivan Strinic and Duvan Zapata remain away on international duty.

In the morning Marco Giampaolo had the players warm up and do strength work in the gym before moving outside to focus on stamina and finishing drills.

The group reconvened after lunch – bolstered by the addition of youth players Ibourahima Balde, Joao Gomes Ricciulli and Alex Pastor – with technique and tactics the focus. The day’s work was then wrapped up with a training game.

On Saturday morning the first team will play an in-house friendly with the Primavera squad involved.
