Mixed training in Bogliasco; South American contingent return on Monday

Even during the winter break, Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria have been hard at work at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini.

The squad went through some aerobic and muscular tests this morning before fitness drills, possession work and practise games in the afternoon. Numbers were bolstered by newly signed Primavera player Ognjen Stijepovic.

Samp’s South American contingent are expected back at the training ground tomorrow afternoon, while the rest of the group have been handed a day off.

Tuesday morning will be the first time the full squad gathers to begin preparations for the Fiorentina match on 21 January.
