Practice game and fitness work for Samp, double session on Friday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Thursday for their latest training session during the international break.

The squad kicked things off with a mixed warm-up, before getting stuck into a ten-a-side practice game and ending the session with some fitness work.

With Joachim Andersen, Bartosz Bereszynski, David Ivan, Dawid Kownacki, Karol Linetty, Ivan Strinic and Duvan Zapata all away on international duty, Giampaolo promoted Ibourahima Balde, Joao Claudio Gomes Ricciulli and Alex Pastor to the first-team squad for the session.

Samp will have another double training session on Friday – their second of the week. Fans will not be able to attend due to the ongoing work at the training ground.
