Samp return to training ahead of Verona clash, double session on Wednesday

The Sampdoria players were back in training on Tuesday at Bogliasco, where a tough session was organised ahead of the Sunday’s home match against Hellas Verona. After two and a half days off, Marco Giampaolo and his staff put all those players available through some tough work.

The session comprised a warm-up, followed by training matches and fitness work on the second pitch at the Mugnaini. The only player not involved was Dennis Praet, who is continuing his recovery programme. Tomorrow the Doria squad will have a double training session, which will not be open to the public because of the renovation work in progress at the training centre.
