Samp to take on Malaga in Costa del Sol Cup on 6 August

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria side will take on Malaga in the 32nd Costa del Sol Cup at La Rosaleda on 6 August (21:00 CEST kick-off).

The match comes a few days before the Blucerchiati travel to the Camp Nou to face Barcelona in the Gamper Trophy on 10 August.

Sampdoria are set to become the fourth Italian outfit to contest the Costa del Sol Cup, which was founded in 1961. Should Samp beat Juande Ramos’ Malaga side, they will join Roma and Fiorentina in having won the pre-season trophy (Fiorentina were the last Italian side to win it, in 2014).

Tickets in the away end go on sale on Saturday 30 July from La Rosaleda ticket office and online. Prices start at €10 behind the goal and €20 in the main stands.
