Seven Sampdoria players named in provisional squads for World Cup 2018

Sampdoria have had seven players named in provisional squads for the upcoming World Cup in Russia.

Poland’s Bartosz Bereszynski, Dawid Kownacki and Karol Linetty, Uruguay’s Gaston Ramirez and Lucas Torreira, Croatia’s Ivan Strinic and Colombia’s Duvan Zapata are the Blucerchiati men hoping they will make the cut for the tournament, which runs from 14 June to 15 July.

Once the Serie A season finishes, the international contingent will depart for training camps around the world in order to stake their claim for a seat on the plane to Russia. Final squads must be announced by 4 June.
