21-man party named for San Siro trip. Balhouli receives first senior call-up
Sampdoria were back in Bogliasco on Saturday to put the finishing touches on their preparations for Sunday’s visit to Inter at the San Siro.
At the end of the session – watched on by technical director Walter Sabatini and sporting director Carlo Osti – Marco Giampaolo named a squad of 21 Blucerchiati players for the game.
Primavera youngster Mohamed Bahlouli has been called up to the senior squad for the first time. The French forward, 18, will wear No.12.
Four players are unavailable for Sunday’s 18:00 CET kick-off in Milan: Jakub Jankto and Gaston Ramirez, who did personalised work, Edgar Barreto, who pushed on with his recovery programme on the pitch, and Gianluca Caprari, who had physio and a session in the pool as he begins his post-op rehabilitation.
