Blucerchiati given warm welcome in Ponte di Legno

The Sampdoria squad were given a warm reception by those who turned out in Piazza XXVII Settembre, in what has become an annual tradition for the club, dating back to 2015. It was a carnival atmosphere as the Samp players took to the stage and gave the many fans in Ponte di Legno an opportunity to get a closer look at Eusebio Di Francesco’s new squad.

After greetings and expressions of gratitude to local bodies from vice president Antonio Romei and sporting director Carlo Osti, the players and staff who are in Val Camonica for the pre-season camp were presented one by one. It was a hearty welcome, as all Blucerchiati were given a warm ovation, with a passion we’re used to seeing down at the Marassi.
