Final session of the week in Bogliasco, back to work on Tuesday

The Sampdoria squad’s final training session of the week took place in roaring sunshine in Bogliasco on Saturday. In the absence of Bartosz Bereszynski, Julian Chabot, Omar Colley, Albin Ekdal and Jakub Jankto who are away on international duty, Angelo Palombo and his staff put the players through their paces on pitch one at the Mugnaini with warm-ups with and without the ball, fitness work and high-intensity small-sided games. Three members of the Primavera squad, Marco Pompetti, Matteo Raspa and Tommaso Maggioni, also took part.

As for the injury front, Morten Thorsby continued his own recovery schedule on the pitch and in the gym, Karol Linetty underwent treatment and did gym work, and Andrea Seculin received treatment and did some physio work. Training is scheduled to resume on Tuesday afternoon.
