Intense training session ahead of Aurora Pro Patria friendly

There were two groups in the morning session and the full squad was out on the pitch in the afternoon at the training ground in Temu on Tuesday, as the Sampdoria players stepped up their preparations for the new campaign.

The Blucerchiati, with Gonzalo Maroni back in training, kicked off the morning with gym work, before doing some tactical work out on the pitch. Eusebio Di Francesco split the whole squad into three teams for high-intensity small-sided games during the second session. Nicola Murru took part in some tailored drills, while Julian Chabot spent time in the gym.

A morning training session is scheduled for Wednesday, which will be followed by the third and final friendly in Alta Valle Camonica at 17:30 CEST against Serie C outfit Aurora Pro Patria. Tickets to attend the game are free.
