Linetty, Muriel and Schick called up for World Cup qualifiers

There’s just one more Serie A match to play before the international break then a number of Blucerchiati players will be heading off around Europe and the rest of the world for games with their national sides.

With World Cup qualifying points at stake Luis Muriel will be hoping to continue his run in the Colombia team following his recent impressive displays in the South American group. Los Cafeteros play Paraguay in Asuncion on 6 October (20:30 local time time) before hosting Uruguay five days later.

Patrik Schick has been rewarded for his goalscoring form with Czech Republic Under-21s with a call-up to the senior squad. His national side face a tricky test away to Germany (in Hamburg on 8 October) followed by a home match against Azerbaijan (in Ostrava on 11 October). Both are World Cup qualifying matches.

Elsewhere Karol Linetty and Poland will be looking to make up for dropping two points against Kazakhstan last time out when they play Denmark (8 October) and Armenia (11 October).
