Sampdoria were straight back to work in Bogliasco having returned late from Turin. The squad was split into two groups, with one working on the pitch and the other in the gym. Vasco Regini sat out the session due to an intestinal virus which also struck other Blucerchiati players, before, during and after the Vojvodina match.

Christian Puggioni, Niklas Moisander and Joaquín Correa continued their respective recovery programmes. Training will continue at the Mugnaini on Sunday.
