Recovery work today, back on Saturday to kick-start Atalanta preparations
Walter Zenga reassembled his troops at the Mugnaini for training today, a day on from the Blucerchiati’s victory over Roma.
The manager split the squad in two for today’s session: one group did recovery work while the remainder of the squad were put through an intense workout involving exercises both with and without the ball.
Tests on Matias Silvestre have revealed that he sprained his left knee in last night’s match at Marassi. He is having conservative treatment.
The players will enjoy a day’s rest tomorrow before meeting up again on Saturday to begin preparations for their Monday night visit to Atalanta.
