Pedone takes training in Bogliasco

Sampdoria got back down to work this afternoon with a long session lasting almost two hours out on the main training pitch at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini.

Shorn of nine players away on international duty, Ciccio Pedone oversaw a workout that mainly focused on athletic and technical work, with plenty of training games thrown into the mix.

Emiliano Viviano, Matías Silvestre and Edgar Barreto trained individually, while Angelo Palombo worked on his fitness.

Andrea Coda and Nenad Krsticic continued their recovery programmes.

There’s one morning training session planned for Wednesday.
