Montella issues rallying call: “This is a new start. Balance and desire wins you matches”

“Finally the transfer window has closed.” Vincenzo Montella breathes a sigh of relief as he can now get back to work without the distraction of transfer rumours.

“We’re still breaking the new signings in but we’re working hard to find balance,” began the Blucerchiati gaffer. “Against Torino we will play with desire which can win you games.

“Even though they’re ahead of us in the league, we need to beat them and get back to mid-table.”

The Aeroplanino also had a few words to say on Sampdoria’s new signings.

“The new guys did well against Bologna. A few errors are understandable given they’re not familiar with us. Fabio Quagliarella is a second striker with an eye for goal, I’ve always liked him.”
