From Kuwait to Genoa for Sampdoria and more

A chance meeting saw Massimo Ferrero come into contact with some very special Doria fans this morning.

On his plane from Rome to Genoa, the president ran into a group of students from New English School Kuwait kitted out in their very own personalised Sampdoria shirts!

The eight youngsters and their teacher are visiting our city for GeMUN 2016, the Genoa Model United Nations Conference being held from 25 to 27 February.

Besides the conference itself, the students are also planning to take in the local sights and will be at the Stadio Ferraris on Sunday for Sampdoria v Frosinone.
