Samp v Verona jerseys up for auction to raise funds for COVID-19 emergency
Sampdoria have decided to auction off the playing and warm-up jerseys worn by the team at the recent game against Hellas Verona in order to raise funds to help tackle the COVID-19 emergency.
The jerseys feature a special International Women’s Day patch, given that the game took place on 8 March.
The money raised will be donated to hospitals in Milan, Pavia and Rome, as well as the Italian Red Cross, in order to make a tangible contribution to help those that are risking their own health for the common good.
