First Sampdoria training session for Keita Balde and Adrien Silva

Keita Balde and Adrien Silva trained with their new team-mates for the first time on Tuesday as the Blucerchiati reconvened in Bogliasco after enjoying a long weekend off in the wake of Friday’s win at Fiorentina.

The squad – minus international contingent Kristoffer Askildsen, Bartosz Bereszynski, Omar Colley, Mikkel Damsgaard, Albin Ekdal, Morten Thorsby and Maya Yoshida – began with a neuromuscular warm-up, then did technical and tactical drills focusing on shooting and played a mini-match, alternating with aerobic work.

Jakub Jankto was the only player to train separately.

A double session is planned for Wednesday.
