Hard graft and a barrel of laughs for Samp in second day of training
It was hot at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini as Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria engaged in their second day of pre-season training on Thursday.
After sweating their way through fitness drills, ball work and games of handball in the morning, the afternoon saw the players presented with a lighter load.
The Blucerchiati were split into four groups for a tournament testing their technical skills. It was all good fun with plenty of laughs, cheering and a bit of healthy teasing as the team led by Lorenzo De Silvestri, Nenad Krsticic and Antonio Cassano emerged victorious.
On Friday the squad will again be put through their paces with a double session, the last of the week.
