Fitness tests and training games for depleted squad on Wednesday
After enjoying two days off in the wake of Sunday’s win over Atalanta, the Blucerchiati reported back to Bogliasco to resume training on Wednesday.
Shorn of a number of players on international duty (Milan Skriniar, Bruno Fernandes, Karol Linetty, Dennis Praet, Luis Muriel and Patrik Schick), the squad began the day with cardiopulmonary exercise tests in the morning.
After lunch they headed up to the top pitch for some fitness drills and training games.
Carlos Carbonero carried out the athletic work with the main group then continued with a personalised programme designed to get him back up to full match fitness.
Meanwhile Andrea Tozzo had treatment.
Marco Giampaolo will put the lads through another double session on Thursday.
