Tactical session in Bogliasco. Final workout and press conference on Saturday

Tactics were the focus of Friday’s session, as Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria gear up for their trip to Rome.

Luis Muriel and Matias Silvestre joined the squad for training on the upper pitch at Bogliasco, as the Blucerchiati began with a warm-up and technical work. The bulk of the session was then spent on studying shape both individually and as units in different areas of the pitch. Carlos Carbonero spent the first part of the session with his team-mates, before training on his own. Andrea Tozzo meanwhile followed a specific strength programme.
