Training starts again in Bogliasco as international players make their returns

As the international break draws to a close, those who were away representing their countries are beginning to come back to Bogliasco.

Pedro Pereira was back in time for Marco Giampaolo’s first training session of the week this afternoon. The Blucerchiati coach also had Mirko Eramo back available, with the young midfielder fully recovered from his recent bout of flu.

The squad, still short of eight players, went through a warm-up in the gym before stepping outside for some passing games and a practice match on a reduced pitch.

Edgar Barreto was put through some fitness tests, while Carlos Carbonero and Daniel Pavlovic continued their respective recovery programmes.

Tuesday has a double training session in store for Sampdoria.
