Sampdoria train in Rome ahead of Fiorentina clash

Sampdoria trained at the Centro Sportivo Giulio Onesti in Acqua Acetosa, Rome on Saturday morning as they prepare to face Fiorentina at the Stadio Franchi on Sunday.

President Massimo Ferrero, with his son Rocco, club lawyer Antonio Romei, technical director Daniele Prade and sporting director Carlo Osti were all there to watch the team being put through their paces by Marco Giampaolo.

Meanwhile the injured players continued their respective recovery programmes back in Bogliasco.

The Blucerchiati will have an audience with the Pope this afternoon before setting off for Florence later in the day.
