Technique and tactics on Friday. Friendly with U19s on Saturday morning

Sampdoria worked on the top pitch in Bogliasco on Friday afternoon as Marco Giampaolo put his troops through a session based primarily on technical and tactical work.

Elsewhere Christian Puggioni, Jacopo Sala and Matias Silvestre did personalised strength work while Emiliano Viviano had treatment and did some individual training on the pitch. Carlos Carbonero and Daniel Pavlovic continued their respective recovery programmes as they work their way back to match fitness.

Meanwhile Bruno Fernandes, Karol Linetty, Luis Muriel, Pedro Pereira, Patrik Schick and Milan Skriniar remain away on international duty with their respective national sides.

A friendly match against Ciccio Pedone’s Under-19s has been organised for Saturday morning, with kick-off set for 10:30.
