Back to work in Bogliasco. Morning of tests, De Biasi visits in the afternoon

The squad spent Tuesday morning having medical check-ups before working on cardio. The focus then switched to a technical warm-up and specific training games after lunch. That was the order of the day as Sampdoria began their preparations for Sunday’s home match against Empoli.

The Blucerchiati were joined by a special guest. Albania head coach Gianni De Biasi was an interested spectator, as Marco Giampaolo and his staff ran a session on the upper pitch of the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini. De Biasi will hang around for Wednesday’s double session and the Thursday workout too.

Carlos Carbonero trained with the group, while Angelo Palombo worked on recovery. Matias Silvestre and Emiliano Viviano did specific strength work in the gym, while Jacopo Sala had treatment in the pool.
