Alvarez and Palombo to miss Roma cup game as Giampaolo names 21-man squad

The Blucerchiati gathered in Bogliasco on Wednesday afternoon to put the finishing touches on preparations for Thursday’s Coppa Italia round-of-16 tie against Roma.

The afternoon session saw the players put through a series of small-sided games followed by some tactical drills with set-piece practice to finish.

Ricky Alvarez and Angelo Palombo are to set miss the match through injury (knee and back, respectively).

The following 21-man party will fly down to the capital early on Wednesday evening:

Goalkeepers: Krapikas, Puggioni, Tozzo.

Defenders: Amuzie, Bereszynski, Dodo, Pereira, Pavlovic, Regini, Silvestre, Skriniar.

Midfielders: Cigarini, Djuricic, Fernandes, Linetty, Praet, Torreira.

Forwards: Budimir, Muriel, Quagliarella, Schick.
