Split session for Samp, training behind closed doors on Friday
Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Thursday to continue preparations for Sunday’s visit of Bologna.
The coach split the players up by position, with the defenders first up before lunch (Jacopo Sala was back with the group for the first time). In the afternoon it was the turn of the midfielders and forwards, with Primavera youngsters Ibourahima Balde, Giacomo Ferrazzo, Andrea Tessiore and Michal Tomic joining in.
There was physiotherapy and tailored recovery work for Edgar Barretto and Wladimiro Falcone, with the latter working out on the pitches too in the company of coach Andrea Sardini.
Samp will train behind closed doors on Friday afternoon.
