Video work and tactics prepping for Cagliari on Friday

That’s one session less as the countdown to Cagliari continues. Marco Giampaolo had the Blucerchiati focus on tactics and specific game strategies with Sunday’s match in mind when they met on Friday.

The day began with a sitting in the video room analysing the opposition, before the coaching staff took the squad up to the top pitch to run through a series of drills in preparation for Sunday’s contest in Marassi.

Academy youngsters Ibourahima Balde, Gergely Hutvagner, Joao Claudio Gomes Ricciulli, Andrea Tessiore and Giacomo Vrioni joined in with the first team for today’s workout.

The team will complete their pre-match preparations on Saturday, when the coach will sit down with journalists to preview the game at 13:00 CET (live updates on Twitter, video on Samp TV).
