Training resumes with Ferrero in attendance, afternoon session on Tuesday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Monday morning following Sunday’s draw in Palermo.

Club president Massimo Ferrero was also in Bogliasco today, meeting with sporting director Carlo Osti and Giampaolo before watching from the sidelines.

With the players involved for the majority of the game in Sicily exercising in the gym and working with the masseurs, the rest of the squad – including Ante Budimir, who has recovered from flu – trained as usual on the main pitch.

Samp will train again tomorrow afternoon.
