Samp put through double workout in the sun

Sampdoria were back in Bogliasco for a double session on Tuesday with Saturday’s Derby della Lanterna rapidly closing in.

The morning began with some strength work in the gym before the players went outside and split into groups according to position for specific drills.

After lunch there was a session in the video room followed by a full workout on the pitch.

Youth players Denis Baumgartner, Mario Filipe Curito, Gergely Hutvagner, Giacomo Piccardo and Giacomo Vrioni joined in with the first team today.

The team’s next training session will be on Wednesday morning but the rest of the week will be closed to the public as Marco Giampaolo and his staff look to keep the Blucerchiati’s derby plans under wraps and away from prying eyes.
