Wednesday session in the sun, next workout on Thursday afternoon

Sampdoria had their second session of the week this morning at a sun-bathed Bogliasco, with technical director Daniele Prade and sporting director Carlo Osti both in attendance.

First-team coach Marco Giampaolo had his players doing warm-up exercises in the gym and on the pitch before a long section outside dedicated to tactics and technique. The Blucerchiati wrapped things up with a practice match on a reduced pitch.

Fabio Quagliarella and Emiliano Viviano both had tailored, one-on-one workouts.

The Centro Sportivo Mugnaini also welcomed back a familiar face today, as one of the coaching staff under Beppe Iachini, Fabrizio Tafani, popped in to say hello.

Samp will be back out for training tomorrow afternoon, which will be open to the public.
