Budimir and Alvarez strikes down Lugano in Saturday friendly in Bogliasco

Sampdoria wrapped up international week with a 2-0 defeat of Swiss outfit Lugano in a friendly match on Saturday.

Ante Budimir and Ricky Alvarez scored either side of half time as Marco Giampaolo’s men – still shorn of seven players away with their national sides – overcame the Swiss Super League outfit coached by Paolo Tramezzani and former Samp defender Mirko Conte.
