Strength, tactics and ball work in Bogliasco, internationals to return on Thursday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Wednesday ahead of the return of the club’s international representatives on Thursday.

The Blucerchiati – including youngsters Roberto Criscuolo, Andrea Tessiore and Giacomo Vrioni – kicked things off with strength work in the gym and out on the pitches, before moving on to focus on a range of tactical and technical drills. The session was rounded off with a practice game on the main pitch.

Patrik Schick had an individual session, while Luis Muriel continued working on his recovery plan.

The whole squad – internationals included – will be at the training ground tomorrow morning to continue preparations for Inter.
