Sassuolo prep kicks off in Bogliasco

The players reported back to the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Tuesday morning to start preparing for Saturday’s visit to Sassuolo at Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia.

The players most heavily involved in Sunday’s draw with Fiorentina did light training while the rest of the squad – joined by 19-year-old academy midfielder Denis Baumgartner – divided their time between the gym and the pitch.

Meanwhile Luis Muriel and Jacopo Sala continued with their respective recovery programmes.

The squad will be back on Wednesday afternoon for their next training session.
